Lead systems engineering efforts, including the analysis of requirements, functional assessments, and the formulation of design solutions. You will be responsible for the comprehensive management of systems architecture documentation and maintenance.


Utilize systems engineering methodologies to convert detailed requirements into performance metrics and identify system configurations.


Develop and distribute systems engineering documentation, processes, and timelines, ensuring alignment with industry standards.


Possess an in-depth understanding of the Systems Engineering Management Process, particularly as it pertains to defense acquisition protocols throughout all lifecycle stages. Familiarity with DOD regulations regarding Systems Engineering and Integrated Product Development is essential.


Provide expert guidance and authoritative insights that impact critical projects and technological advancements.


Act as the subject matter expert for all technical components of assigned projects, ensuring excellence in design, development, integration, testing, installation, and troubleshooting.


Translate military operational requirements into actionable system concepts and performance specifications.


Generate and maintain essential technical documentation, including specifications, engineering schematics, system interface requirements, and engineering modifications.


Engage in post-award program evaluations, design assessments, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) as the lead engineer or technical authority on assigned projects.


Assess design initiatives to guarantee the integration of engineering disciplines and the thoroughness of analyses conducted, incorporating additional technical expertise as necessary.


Review testing protocols, procedures, and reports for technical sufficiency on assigned projects, encompassing both government and contractor evaluations, as well as all failure documentation.


Evaluate system performance against established specifications, monitor field performance, and assess risks associated with meeting user and specification requirements.


Initiate engineering change proposals and manage waivers or deviations as needed, conducting physical and functional configuration audits.


Examine program management documentation to ensure the precision and adequacy of technical content.


Qualifications:
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering along with 8 years of relevant experience is required.

A DoD Secret clearance is necessary.


As a subject matter expert in Systems Engineering, you will have the capability to lead engineering initiatives on assigned projects with minimal oversight.


Equivalent experience that meets DAWIA Level II SPRDE certification is acceptable.
