Job Title: Principal Systems Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Architect to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement IP-based tactical networks using RHEL systems and Cisco devices
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support and coordinate daily integration activities
  • Execute root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues
  • Serve as an Integration SME to include supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and suggesting changes to improve performance
  • Interact with senior leadership as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience, or additional years in lieu of a degree
  • Hands-on experience with engineering or administering Cisco networks and/or RHEL systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a high-stress and dynamic environment
  • Current Security certification (e.g. Security+ CE or CISSP)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Current Secret security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Linux administration experience (RHEL)
  • Understanding of routing and switching experience debugging network-oriented applications
  • Experience integrating COTS, GOTS, and custom software in a security-constrained environment
Salary Range:

$102,000 - $153,600

The salary range represents a general guideline, and Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
