Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering quality care and a commitment to excellence in customer service.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience for every individual who visits our office.
  • Guide patients and parents through our treatment processes, providing clear explanations and instructions.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatment, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  • Take x-rays and save them to patient charts, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist professional dental staff with treatment, working collaboratively to provide the best possible care.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient charts, maintaining accurate and detailed records.

Requirements:

  • Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (State dependent)
  • At least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Assisting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion
  • Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting
