About This RoleThis position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals who prioritize patient care and clinical excellence. As a Radiology Team Lead, you will play a key role in promoting flexibility in staff utilization, delegating tasks effectively, and maintaining technical skills. Your ability to act on behalf of the Imaging Center Manager when needed will be essential in ensuring seamless operations.

As a Radiology Team Lead, you will oversee various responsibilities, including:
- Providing feedback to the Imaging Center Manager regarding technologist performance and quality.
- Managing and coaching team members to ensure they maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Monitoring and documenting performance during performance periods and providing documentation to the Imaging Center Manager.
- Promoting flexibility in staff utilization and delegating work appropriately across teams and departments.
- Ensuring adherence to all OSHA regulations, RadNet practices, and generally accepted safety protocols.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also:
- Performs technologist duties to maintain technical skills and alleviate staffing shortages.
- Provides input for hiring and performance evaluation of Nuclear Medicine Technologist employees.
- Acknowledge your responsibility towards safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Demonstrate respect for company property and respond to the needs of others by exhibiting professional behavior.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
- Must have venipuncture certification/permit.
- CPR certification.
- Familiarity with RIS, imaging equipment, and PACS.
- Ability to maintain all required quality standards.
