Job Description

The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Providing feedback to the Imaging Center Manager on performance and quality of technologists;
  • Coaching, training, supporting, and motivating team members;
  • Monitoring and documenting performance during performance periods and providing documentation to the ICM;
  • Promoting flexibility in staff utilization and delegating work appropriately across teams and departments;
  • Adhering to all OSHA regulations, RadNet practices, and generally accepted safety protocols;
  • Performing technologist duties to maintain technical skills and alleviate staffing shortages;
  • Providing input for hiring and performance evaluation of Nuclear Medicine Technologist employees;
  • Acting on behalf of the ICM when unavailable.

  • A genuine passion for patient care and leadership, with sound judgment and professionalism in all situations;
  • Able to showcase adept communication skills with leaders at all levels and strong interpersonal abilities;
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing work with a structured approach, and solving complex problems;
  • ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License, State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, venipuncture certification/permit, CPR certification, familiarity with RIS, imaging equipment, and PACS.
