Job Overview

Starting Pay: $ /hour

Position Objective: The primary responsibility of this role is to manage expansion machinery to manufacture our product (EPP bead) while adhering to specific quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that reactors function properly and yield high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct density sampling throughout the production cycle.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and detailed documentation of all processes.
  • Adjust operational parameters such as counters, timers, and pressure regulators based on product specifications.
  • Utilize a forced air system to transport the finished product (foam bead) from the production area to storage facilities, including net bags, silos, and both indoor and outdoor locations.
  • Record inventory transactions accurately in the inventory management system.
  • Assist material handlers by loading materials into sacks, cartons, boxes, and bulk trailers.
  • May be required to operate additional machinery within the Resins Department.

Additional Duties: Responsibilities also include maintaining a tidy work environment, assisting with equipment troubleshooting, and providing management with suggestions for process enhancements.

Work Environment: Candidates must be available to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including overtime as necessary, in a light manufacturing setting that operates continuously.

Requirements:

  • Starting wage is $ /hour.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and basic mathematical abilities are essential, along with a solid mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.

Candidates should be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs to waist height, operating a fork truck, and working at heights and in confined spaces. Physical demands include the ability to stand for extended periods, navigate stairs, climb into truck beds, and work from ladders, with or without accommodations.
