Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

• Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB or ExCPT certification.
