Career Opportunity: MEDSTAR HEALTH is seeking a highly skilled Nurse - care unit - medical center to join our team in providing exceptional patient-centered rehabilitation nursing services. With a focus on spinal cord injury (SCI), orthopedics, burns, and amputees, this role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the interdisciplinary team, working closely with physicians, psychologists, physical and occupational therapists, speech therapists, wound and ostomy care nurses, social workers, and case managers to deliver safe and quality care. As a Rehabilitation Clinical Nurse, you will assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while promoting physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health through evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered rehabilitation nursing services to individuals with a disability and/or chronic illness
- Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle
- Promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required
- Prior clinical nursing experience preferred
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required
