Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Opportunity at RAYUS Radiology


RAYUS Radiology, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Imaging Procedures: Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, ensuring minimal supervision or repeats.
  • Patient Preparation: Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, and prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them for optimal scanning.
  • Scan Parameters: Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed to ensure high-quality images.
  • Communication: Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers, and converse with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect equipment after each use, and participate in staff meetings with employee involvement.

Requirements:



  • Education and Training: Completion of a radiologic technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Certifications and Licenses: Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field, and a valid state license to practice as a radiologic technologist.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in using radiology information systems and equipment.
