Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic radiological exams on patients as ordered by healthcare providers. The technologist may work with patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients. In addition to performing diagnostic exams, the technologist may also perform other radiological procedures within the scope of their licensure, such as electrocardiograms (EKGs) and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (Dexa) bone scans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiological exams on patients as ordered by healthcare providers
  • Work with patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients
  • Perform other radiological procedures within the scope of licensure, such as EKGs and Dexa bone scans
  • Ensure high-quality images are obtained and maintained
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and procedures

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • Previous travel experience
  • Strong surgery experience
  • Strong OR background with C-Arm
  • O-Arm experience preferred
  • Minimal RTO (Relocation Travel Option) accepted, preferably none

Certification Requirements

  • ARRT certification
  • BLS (AHA) certification
