  • Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines, and components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Overhaul gas or diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Read job orders, observe, and listen to vehicles in operation to determine malfunctions and plan work procedures.
  • Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, making adjustments as needed to ensure safe operation.
  • Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication with customers.
  • Attend training classes and stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins, enhancing your technical knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, increasing overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility
