Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute R&D strategies to drive business growth and improve product offerings.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Lead project teams to design, test, and commercialize new products.
  • Communicate technical results and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
  • Travel up to 20% to visit customers and attend industry conferences.

Requirements:

  • PhD in materials science or related field, plus 5 years of experience, or Master's degree plus 8 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of polymer science and materials properties.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with additive functionalization and interfacial chemistry is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Imerys offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
