About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Summit Counseling Center - Atlanta team as a Fundraising Coordinator - Event Operations Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in planning and executing small to large-scale fundraising events that align with the center's mission.

Job Description

The Fundraising Coordinator - Event Operations Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Development Officer in the planning and execution of fundraising events;
  • Soliciting, coordinating, and supporting volunteers throughout the event process;
  • Leading and managing the silent auction for each summit event, including securing donations, auction database management, and volunteer coordination;
  • Managing event setup, teardown, and follow-ups;
  • Tracking and maintaining clean, updated, and accessible data for presenters, speakers, and attendees;
  • Working closely across teams to recruit attendees, promote ticket sales, solicit sponsorships, and in-kind donations;
  • Developing innovative fundraising streams during the event offseason (giveback events, restaurant nights, etc.);
  • Managing the Blackbaud database, including uploading monthly donations and creating quarterly statements;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in planning and coordinating non-profit fundraising events on a professional basis;
  • Highly developed skills in Microsoft platforms related to event management;
  • Experience in soliciting auction donations and managing donor databases/CRM software (preferably Blackbaud);
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • A strong ability to work independently and under strict deadlines;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams and partners;
  • Familiarity with event registration software (preferably GiveSmart);
  • Experience in customer service through phone, email, and social media; and
  • Ability to track and maintain budgets effectively.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
