JOB SUMMARY:
RUDOLPH AND SLETTEN is actively seeking a Project Manager capable of overseeing projects from inception to completion, managing risks, and leading the project team. Project Managers are tasked with ensuring that projects adhere to all performance metrics, including schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Projects must be managed in accordance with company policies and the Core Values of Rudolph and Sletten (client-centric, integrity, passion for construction, quality, safety, service, and technology-driven).
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the preconstruction process and its integration into construction.
- Collaborate with the Preconstruction team on estimate preparation and subcontractor meetings.
- Effectively manage the job setup process in accordance with company protocols.
- Assemble project teams and clearly define roles and responsibilities.
- Facilitate kickoff meetings to review and agree upon project procedures.
- Develop a project closeout plan and schedule for completion following construction, including turnover packages and contract closeout.
- Foster a jobsite culture that prioritizes safety and compliance with relevant safety manuals and regulations.
- Ensure the financial health and success of the project by adhering to procedures and providing accurate financial reports.
- Establish and maintain project budgets, understanding the requirements of the Owner Agreement.
- Lead the project team in developing and maintaining the project master schedule.
- Implement a Quality Management Protocol aligned with the Owner contract.
- Oversee the submittal and coordination process and manage the project BIM management plan.
- Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Participate in business development activities and project pursuits as needed.
- Promote a positive work environment and motivate team members to perform effectively.
- Analyze and resolve complex construction process issues while communicating effectively with all personnel levels.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the construction field or a related area is required.
- Experience with large commercial projects in various sectors is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Procore construction software is preferred.
- Knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 is advantageous.
Expected annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000 based on experience.
