Upholsterer - Furniture Manufacturing

The Upholsterer position at Williams-Sonoma is responsible for upholstering furniture to meet quality standards and productivity requirements. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in upper-end upholstered furniture manufacturing and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Upholster fabric, fiber, and components to assembled frames according to specifications and Standard Operating Procedures
• Meet or exceed productivity requirements of 6 pieces per hour with a goal of 8 pieces per hour
• Practice safe work practices and adhere to Personal Protective Equipment standards

• At least 1 year of experience in upper-end upholstered furniture manufacturing
• Ability to interpret production tickets and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to read, write, and understand English

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 years' experience in an upper-end upholstery manufacturing environment
• Ability to speak English and understand Spanish

• Ability to frequently lift frames weighing 50-60lbs
• Ability to sit or stand for 10-hour periods and bend and twist as required
