TradeWinds Island Resorts features two interconnected resorts located on the pristine sands of St. Pete Beach, a highly regarded destination.


Position Overview:

$500 signing bonus after 4 months of service

We offer a diverse range of food and beverage services across multiple outlets, and we are in search of Guest-focused

Mixologists who excel in delivering outstanding customer service while preparing and serving beverages.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at all times.
Employees are expected to be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow team members.
Set up the bar in accordance with resort standards and ensure prompt and efficient service to guests.
Prepare drinks and cocktails following the resort's mixing and presentation guidelines.
Serve guests with all beverage needs in a friendly, professional manner.
Break down the bar after events, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment according to the resort's standards.
Adhere to all state liquor regulations.
Familiarize yourself with resort services and facilities.
Comply with all resort policies and safety protocols.
Follow established procedures in serving alcohol responsibly to prevent issues with intoxicated guests.
Address guests' concerns, complaints, and incidents.
Be knowledgeable about fire exit locations and how to operate fire extinguishers.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas during operations.
Strive for overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent, along with experience in hospitality or a related field, is preferred.
Flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work long hours when necessary.

Medium physical demands - Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.

Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Proficient in listening to, understanding, and addressing concerns raised by guests and team members.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
Attend all required meetings and training sessions.

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with TradeWinds Resort Standards, as required by scheduling, which may vary based on operational needs.

Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and nametag.
Adhere to TradeWinds Resort Standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
Maximize productivity efforts, identify areas for improvement, and assist in implementing solutions.
Effectively handle problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as necessary.
Ability to comprehend and apply complex information and data from various sources to achieve objectives.
Willingness to cross-train in other hospitality-related areas.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Demonstrate initiative by anticipating guest or operational needs.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
