Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Atrium Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Levine Children's Hospital. As a CVICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children with cardiovascular conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children with cardiovascular conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication administration, and other medical interventions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina or eligible for licensure.
- At least 6 months of RN experience in a pediatric ICU or cardiovascular ICU setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
