Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Investment Principal to join our team. The successful candidate will play a leadership role in sourcing, executing, and managing investments, as well as working closely with portfolio companies to drive growth and operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to significantly influence the firm's investment strategy and to work alongside senior partners in building and managing a portfolio of successful companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Sourcing: Lead efforts in identifying and sourcing potential investment opportunities, including maintaining relationships with investment banks, industry professionals, and business owners.
  • Investment Evaluation: Oversee due diligence processes, including financial modeling, industry research, and competitive analysis to assess the attractiveness of potential investments.
  • Deal Execution: Lead all aspects of transaction execution, including structuring, negotiations, and closing. Ensure a seamless process working with legal, financial, and other advisors.
  • Portfolio Management: Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to develop and execute growth strategies, improve operational performance, and monitor financial results.
  • Leadership: Mentor junior investment professionals, including Associates and Vice Presidents, providing guidance on deal structuring, financial analysis, and transaction execution.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the firm's overall strategy and growth initiatives, including sector focus, capital deployment, and fundraising efforts.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field; MBA from a top-tier program is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in private equity with a focus on industrials, business services, or consumer sectors. Previous leadership roles in private equity or investment management are required.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to source, execute, and manage middle-market transactions with a successful track record of driving value creation in portfolio companies.
  • Financial Expertise: Strong financial acumen, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and structuring complex transactions.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams, mentoring junior professionals, and working directly with senior management at portfolio companies.
