  • Budget Management: Manage a budget of $10M+, ensuring a balanced allocation across processes, staffing, automation, regulatory compliance, risk controls, and costs.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain procedural documentation for all processes, controls, and oversight to meet:
  • Internal and external auditor expectations.
  • Departmental training and information reference.
  • Business continuity and recovery planning.

Staff Development and Retention:

  • Mitigate key-man risk through cross-training of critical functions to ensure continuity and competence.
  • Cultivate multi-dimensional capabilities in staff to enhance knowledge breadth and depth, optimizing utilization and value.
  • Encourage staff innovation and solicit ideas for process improvement.
  • Foster an environment that communicates opportunities for growth, aligned with the firm's goals and staff aspirations.
  • Promote a culture of partnership and interdependence, inspiring staff to feel challenged and enthusiastic about their roles and future at Natixis.
  • Actively seek and incorporate feedback from staff to ensure they are engaged and satisfied with their personal development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in both capital markets and commercial banking operations.
  • 5+ years in senior management roles within operations, including leadership responsibilities for other senior operations staff and collaboration across Front Office, Finance, Compliance/Legal, Risk Management, and IT.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and drive operational excellence.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of making sound decisions under pressure.
