Petco Veterinary Technician

The Petco Veterinary Technician will play a critical role in providing exceptional veterinary care to our patients and delivering an outstanding customer experience. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our veterinarians and other hospital partners to ensure the highest level of care and satisfaction.

• Greet clients and patients, obtaining vital signs and recording patient history in our electronic medical record system.
• Assist with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia procedures under the supervision of our veterinarians and Hospital Office Manager or Leader.
• Perform patient restraint, obtain and process laboratory samples, handle medications, and maintain accurate records.
• Schedule appointments, communicate with clients, and manage accounts receivable.

• Associate's degree or equivalent education as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician in your state.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a professional attitude.
