About the Role:

  • The Pharmacist will be responsible for evaluating physician medication orders for appropriateness, making recommendations for therapy changes, and collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • This is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based on performance and business needs.
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment, including health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance.
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, potential interactions, and route of administration.
  • Make recommendations for therapy changes to physicians and healthcare staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
