Job Title: Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of a new Business Services Portal (BSP) for the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs (BEA). The BSP is a statewide project that aims to create a single access point to state government and its systems and services for members of the business community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the BSP project, including design, implementation, sustainability, and transferability.
  • Partner with BEA, DoIT, and other State of New Hampshire agencies and leaders to ensure successful delivery of the project.
  • Develop and execute a project management strategy that aligns with the project's goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate resolution of obstacles and issues pertaining to resource availability, decision-making, timelines, and establishing priorities.
  • Research and communicate with the vendor, stakeholders, partners, and agency staff to identify potential internal and external services to meet business and project requirements.
  • Develop and recommend solutions to identified project needs or challenges.
  • Provide timely analysis and feedback on project design, key features, process, and more.
  • Presents analysis and recommendations to senior management and other project stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Seven years' experience in systems analysis, broad-based knowledge of business environments, preferably in a field or occupation related to software development, software support, or software maintenance.
  • Three years of which shall have included the direct involvement in application or product lifecycle management.
  • Must be eligible to hold a valid New Hampshire driver's license and/or have access to transportation for use in statewide travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing the development and support of digital experience or customer relationship management (CRM) platforms or portals.
  • Familiarity with technologies that may be used by the State now or in the future, such as cloud-based platforms, reporting tools, database tools, testing tools, and general development/data migration.
