Position Summary:
The Electrical Project Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing designated projects, ensuring effective management of day-to-day operations. This role encompasses various essential duties, including project setup, field and customer communication, reporting, and managing project closeout and billing processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with vendors to secure necessary submittals and manage project closeout documentation.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with industrial partners, including clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Plan, assign, and oversee the work of project personnel.
  • Monitor construction activities to guarantee compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, design specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
  • Engage in pre-bid site inspections and participate in project-related meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure project completion with a focus on quality and cost efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the construction process.
  • Possession of a Journeyman or Master's Card, or a degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of five years of experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in computer applications.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, follow instructions, and demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and may be subject to additional background checks.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
This role requires the ability to perform essential functions, which may include:

  • Frequent use of hands for handling tools and materials.
  • Ability to sit, stand, talk, and hear throughout the workday.
  • Climbing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crawling as necessary.
  • Lifting objects up to 50 pounds and performing physical labor in various weather conditions.
