Job Overview

Position Objective:

The Sanitation Supervisor will oversee the comprehensive sanitation initiatives at the facility. This role involves collaborating with management to ensure prompt resolution of sanitation challenges and adherence to both corporate and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the sanitation team and inventory.
  • Establish and uphold Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) in alignment with corporate policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct training for staff on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensure personnel safety protocols are followed.
  • Work in conjunction with the Operations and Maintenance Managers to address Quality Assurance concerns and oversee preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Engage with chemical suppliers to guarantee the appropriate types and quantities of cleaning agents are utilized.
  • Participate as a member of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) team.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a sanitation role within the food sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (such as Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
