Elementary Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team at One City Schools, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience for our scholars and will be able to work collaboratively with our experienced teachers to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Lead Classroom Teacher in planning and implementing engaging and challenging lesson plans that meet the needs of all scholars.
- Provide individualized support to scholars, including academic support, social-emotional support, and behavioral guidance.
- Help maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment, including managing instructional materials and records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development efforts to improve teaching practices and stay current with best practices in education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs that support scholar success.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with scholars, families, and community members.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in education.
