Pharmacy Operations Manager

Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of pharmacy technicians and cashiers, while also maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pharmacy operations, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
- 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous people management/leadership experience.
- Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
