Tax Strategy and Planning

Our Tax Specialists offer insightful strategies to help clients minimize their tax liabilities in the future. At Hantz Group, we believe that effective Tax Planning is a proactive endeavor that involves continuous monitoring of our clients' tax situations throughout the year, enabling us to provide accurate tax projections ahead of the final tax return preparation.

Position Overview

The Tax Associate role serves as an excellent entry point for those looking to build a career in taxation. You will become an integral part of the Family Office, collaborating closely with CPAs, Accountants, and Financial Advisors to enhance your understanding of tax accounting and its vital connection to financial services. Your responsibilities will include conducting tax analyses, preparing tax projections and returns, and working alongside specialists to identify opportunities for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Tax Liabilities
  • Prepare Tax Projections
  • Achieve assigned objectives
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions
  • Collaborate with the Tax Team to support client services
  • Adhere to all industry regulations and standards
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Strong sense of accountability, both professionally and personally
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Possess strong leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Willingness to obtain Enrolled Agent designation
  • Ability to secure an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
