**The Opportunity**
Joining the Auto Financial Planning and Analysis team as the Lease Portfolio Financial Analyst II is a vital role supporting the annual business plan, long-term forecasts and monthly forecast updates, reporting and variance analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual results, strategic scenario and stress test planning, and other business and financial analysis.
**The Work Itself**
* Develop, maintain, and improve financial tools to support the forecast for an $8 billion+ consumer lease portfolio, incorporating various economic and market conditions.
* Analyze historical data and trends to provide accurate and actionable forecasts.
* Lead the long-term and short-term forecasting for segments within Allys auto portfolio with a focus on net interest margin.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Accounting, Tax, Business Operations, Pricing, Balance Sheet Management and Finance to gather necessary data and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Perform ongoing variance analysis comparing actual to forecasted business and financial metrics
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate forecast results and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial results related to lease contracts.
* Create and update management review presentation materials for Executive Auto Leaders, the CFO and Board of Directors.
* Partner with business leaders/budget owners in the bottoms-up development of key assumptions and financial performance metrics.
* Interpret financial and operational data and effectively illustrate/communicate links to business performance.
* Drive compliance to key controls and audit requirements within areas of responsibility.
* Contribute to ad hoc analytical projects as necessary both within and beyond primary area of focus.
**The Skills You Bring**
* Proven experience (1+ years) in financial analysis, preferably within the automotive industry, banking or a related field.
* Bachelor's degree required preferably in accounting or finance required.
* Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerPoint and financial software and databases is a plus.
* The ability to work with a wide variety of business partners across various functions.
* The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a matrix environment.
