Position Overview

The Children's Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) is in search of a dedicated Trauma-Informed Clinician for our Therapeutic Nursery. This role involves delivering individual, group, and family psychotherapy to preschool-aged children facing crisis situations and behavioral health challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and coordinate daily and weekly therapeutic activities for both groups and individual clients to meet treatment plan objectives.
  • Provide therapeutic support and assist in the discharge process once therapy goals are successfully achieved.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to clients and their families, utilizing trauma-informed methodologies.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation for authorizations, including treatment plans for CBH every six months or as necessary, and for state requirements every 20 days or as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring all necessary signatures are collected for each client.
  • Collaborate with team members and parents/caretakers to develop discharge plans that are implemented promptly when appropriate.
  • Participate in both internal and external training sessions, fulfilling CCTC's mandatory training requirements as well as those needed for ongoing licensure.


Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of one year of experience in providing psychotherapy to children and their families. Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish are highly encouraged to apply. Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
