Your Responsibilities

As an Equipment Service Technician, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs, replacements, and troubleshooting on various models of forklifts and material handling equipment.

This includes working on diverse fuel systems, drivetrains, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
Experienced technicians will also have the opportunity to mentor apprentice technicians through hands-on training.
Adhere to all safety protocols while executing tasks and comply with company policies.
Accurately identify and order necessary replacement parts.
Operate service vehicles in a clean, safe, and secure manner, following all safety regulations.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or technical school graduate preferred
- Proven ability to repair equipment relevant to skill level
- Basic knowledge of computer/tablet operations (Microsoft and Apple)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required throughout employment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; capable of writing routine correspondence.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages, and perform operations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Understanding of weight measurement, volume, and distance is essential.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

Ability to interpret diverse instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
