**Job Summary**

Talent Software Services is seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our internal audit department, you will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of our company's internal controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Plan and Execute Audit Fieldwork**: Develop and execute audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of our internal controls, including financial reporting and SOX testing.
  • **SOX Testing and Compliance**: Perform SOX testing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the development of test procedures and the review of work paper documentation.
  • **Internal Controls Assessment**: Assess the effectiveness of our internal controls, including the identification of control gaps and the development of recommendations for improvement.
  • **Stakeholder Engagement**: Interact with management and stakeholders to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvement.
  • **Audit Process Improvement**: Maintain awareness of internal control audit trends and ensure that our audit processes remain effective and efficient.

**Requirements:**

  • **Experience with Automated Work Papers**: Experience with automated work papers, preferably using the Workiva Wdesk tool.
  • **Education and Certifications**: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or business administration required. Advanced degree or certification (CPA, CISA, CIA) a plus.
  • **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
  • **Analytical and Communication Skills**: Excellent analytical and communication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • **Time Management and Organization**: Strong time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
