About the Role

RPM Living is seeking an experienced and results-driven Executive Vice President of Operations to lead our multifamily portfolio management team. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, optimizing performance, and developing strategic initiatives to achieve our corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, interview, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Vice Presidents
    • Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings, coaching, and performance evaluations
    • Manage HR issues, including conflict resolution and employee development
    • Develop and implement action plans for underperforming assets
  • Client Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, landlords, and tenants
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve client satisfaction
  • Systems Management:
    • Optimize the use of technology solutions to extract and monitor performance analytics
    • Partner with stakeholders to identify new technologies and solutions for actionable insights
  • Reporting and Financial Management:
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budget reviews and financial reporting
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance and reduce costs
    • Lead the development of annual budgets and financial plans
  • Business Development and Due Diligence:
    • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
    • Conduct due diligence on new business opportunities and provide recommendations to the executive leadership team
    • Work closely with the Transitions and Due Diligence team to ensure smooth transitions and onboarding of new communities
Requirements
  • Education and Experience:
    • 10+ years of multifamily property management leadership experience with a large portfolio
    • Prior significant P&L responsibility and experience with financial analysis and budgeting
    • Strong background in managing diverse types of multifamily communities and developing strategic initiatives
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Exemplary track record of success in leading, coaching, and mentoring teams
    • Advanced proficiency in managing large and complex multifamily portfolios
    • Proven success in building a culture of financial accountability and driving business growth
    • Sophisticated communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues to stakeholders and audiences at all levels
