As an Echocardiograph Technologist at Providence, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures. You will work under the direction of the Department Director and supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab Manager to ensure that all patients receive exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures for patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Serve as a customer service representative to patients, their families, and the medical staff, providing exceptional care and support.
Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities to ensure that our services meet the highest standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
Graduate of a program in cardiac echocardiography approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association or equivalent training through self-study, on-the-job training, etc.
National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire or National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
