Position Summary
The Production & Supply team is seeking a North America Seeds Process Improvement Leader, located in the Midwest region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage strategically prioritized initiatives utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles, collaborating with regional and functional stakeholders from inception to execution.
  • Achieve results: Identify and assess risks and evolving business requirements that may necessitate modifications in projects or processes to ensure excellence in delivery.
  • Develop sustainable processes that foster innovation and drive ongoing improvement and productivity.
Accountabilities
  • Project Management: Spearheading complex and high-visibility improvement projects, guiding teams to shape, manage, implement, and sustain enhancements, ensuring timely delivery within budget. (35%)
  • Lean Six Sigma Leadership: Providing coaching, mentoring, and training to team members on Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement practices. (15%)
  • Change Management: Leading change initiatives based on regional and functional requirements. (15%)
  • Value Assessment: Promoting a culture of valuing improvement benefits through favorable KPI movements and understanding associated financial impacts. (10%)
  • Results Orientation: Proactively identifying risks and adapting projects in response to changing business needs to achieve excellence in delivery. (10%)
Qualifications

Personal Attributes
  • Proven project management skills in leading Lean Six Sigma and strategically prioritized projects, engaging stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply logical reasoning to identify root causes of issues.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at tailoring messages to suit diverse audiences.
  • Ability to effectively present concepts and solutions to business leaders to drive organizational transformation.
Experience and Education
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
  • Strong capability in developing, coaching, and teaching structured problem-solving and project management skills.
Success Factors
  • Effectively drives and delivers prioritized strategic projects while embedding global process standards.
  • Designs and implements sustainable processes that support innovation and enhance productivity.
  • Establishes strong collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders.
