Job Summary
Cottage Health is seeking a skilled Unit Operations Coordinator to facilitate patient care by providing administrative support, coordinating activities, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the completion of unit competency assessments, CPR certification, and license renewal as required.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and unit activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and unit operations.
- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in basic medical terminology and computer software applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting or related field.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and other healthcare software applications.
