Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Child and Family Therapist to join our team at Compass Health. As a member of our Child Advocacy Program, you will work with children, teens, and young adults who have experienced trauma, providing individualized care and support to help them heal and thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs and functioning of clients and develop tailored care plans to provide trauma treatment and support.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support clients and their families.
  • Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings to ensure high-quality care.
  • Stay up-to-date with evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science field (MA, MS, MSW).
  • Qualification as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) or ability to obtain.
  • Training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) or willingness to learn.
  • Experience working with children who have experienced trauma.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with complex needs and multi-system involvement.
