Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatics Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our aquatic facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our programs, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of our community, including swim lessons, water aerobics, and other aquatic activities.
  • Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our aquatic facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff members to ensure they are providing excellent customer service and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our patrons, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of program participation, facility usage, and staff performance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. recreation, education, business) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR and AED certification required; Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Working Conditions

The Aquatics Program Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with staff, patrons, and community members on a daily basis. The position requires the ability to work in a pool environment, with frequent exposure to water and potential hazards.
