We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Simply Beautiful Smiles. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for treatment and make them feel comfortable and at ease.
- Collect and record patient health histories, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Accurately record dental records, reflecting the nature of the contact, patient condition, and care provided.
- Assist with dental charting, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Educate patients on dental treatment options, including billing and payment information.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with taking dental x-rays, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
- Prevent and manage dental medical emergencies, prioritizing patient safety.
- Active Pennsylvania Dental X-Ray License.
- Experience working with patients in a dental office setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to patient care.
- Resourceful, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in our office and maintain a flexible schedule.
