Key Responsibilities
As a Surgical Support Technician, you will:

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care.
  • Monitor patient responses to interventions and document outcomes accurately.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures, depending on the unit.
  • Share on-call responsibilities, maintaining a prompt response time when required.
  • Ensure cleanliness of treatment areas and maintain adequate supply levels.
  • Transport patients as necessary and perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Surgical Support Technician is preferred.
  • Other relevant certifications may be necessary for this role.
  • Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directives.
  • Physical capabilities to remain stationary, move about, and handle equipment.
