Job Overview:

The AVP, Compensation will be a trusted business partner providing consultative compensation advice to other Human Capital partners and the Business. As a senior member of the team, you will support the compensation function in the design, development, implementation, and ongoing analysis and management of company-wide compensation programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, administer, and implement broad-based compensation projects and programs.
  • Lead the annual merit and bonus cycles from end-to-end, including project management, design, testing, communication, training, and support of partners.
  • Maintain the job and compensation structure, including identifying outliers with the market.
  • Lead the annual benchmark process to ensure LPL maintains competitive pay practices.
  • Consult with Human Resources Business partners and Business Leaders on competitive pay practices.
  • Work with external survey providers to conduct annual benchmarking survey submissions.
  • Model compensation data, develop reports, and key metrics to support our pay for performance culture.
  • Train employees and managers on LPL's compensation philosophy and practices.
  • Develop effective and clear communications regarding compensation programs and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 8 years of progressive work experience in HR Compensation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.

Compensation and Benefits:

LPL Financial offers a highly competitive total rewards package, including a base salary range of $106,000 to $176,600, as well as a comprehensive benefits program, including 401(k) matching, health benefits, employee stock options, paid time off, and more.
