Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinic Care Coordinator to join our team at Cottage Health. As a Clinic Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for interacting with patients and visitors at the clinic and managing administrative tasks for the medical team.

About the Position
This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments, processing payments, and completing other administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Interact with patients and visitors at the clinic
- Manage administrative tasks for the medical team
- Provide exceptional patient care
- Schedule patient appointments according to physician's availability
- Process payments
- Perform patient registration, check-in, and check-out
- Create telephone encounters for patient estimates
- Obtain authorizations for office visits and external visits
- Transcribe patient referrals into the EMR system and index accompanying paperwork
- Use the hospital computer systems to access information and complete other clerical tasks

Requirements
- Six months clerical experience
- Basic MS Word & min. 35 wpm typing speed
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required for Peds OP Clinic
- One year clerical experience in a medical environment performing referrals and authorizations

Salary Information
$55,000 - $70,000 per year
