At Porter Hospital, we seek a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team. This is a fulfilling role that involves evaluating assigned patients, planning and implementing nursing care, and documenting the progress of treatment.
About the RoleThis position requires a high degree of creativity and latitude as you work closely with physicians during examinations and procedures. You will be responsible for performing various patient tests, administering medications within the scope of your practice as a registered nurse, and promoting patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching them self-care skills.
Responsibilities- Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
To be successful in this role, you should have an associate's degree, a bachelor's degree preferred, and be certified as a registered nurse. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field is also essential.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $68,000-$90,000, depending on experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
