Agronomy Operations Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Agronomy Operations Intern to join our team in Ethan, SD. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers, delivering top-notch service and valuable insights. This internship is an excellent way to gain practical experience and develop skills in agronomy, crop science, and agricultural operations.

• Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills, including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, and truck driving.
  
• Perform all agronomy/seed operations, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  
• Monitor and maintain inventory, adhering to quality control standards.
  
• Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment, including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
  
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  
• Work in a safe and compliant environment, adhering to state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies.
  

• Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture-related degree program.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
