Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies using a magnetic resonance device, preparing patients, positioning, setting imaging parameters, performing computer processing, and displaying images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for MRI studies, including positioning and setting imaging parameters.
  • Perform computer processing and displaying images.
  • Select appropriate imaging protocol for patient studies.
  • Perform quality assurance scans as required.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work cohesively as a team member within the MRI Department.
Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) certification.
  • Completion of a Medical Imaging Program.
  • BLS certification.
  • Advanced MR certification required within 18 months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MA Rad Tech license.
