We are seeking a highly skilled Certification and Compliance Engineer to join our team at Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI). As a key member of our Regulation & Certification Department, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles meet the stringent environmental and emissions standards set by federal, state, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and conduct emissions and fuel economy testing for our Certification and Compliance Team.
  • Develop and maintain test processes to ensure proper execution of official EPA and CARB testing.
  • Review and analyze emissions and fuel economy data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve testing issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Prepare and present technical reports to management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in emissions and fuel economy testing, with a focus on certification and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive engineering principles and operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
