Overview:

DataSoft Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Coordinator to oversee the SRPPF project. This position focuses on managing project interfaces and supervising electrical engineering responsibilities. While the preferred location is Houston, candidates from Greenville will also be considered. We welcome applications from engineers as well as experienced designers with relevant expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Interface Management:

  • Establish and oversee interaction points among various project components.
  • Facilitate effective communication and resolve any conflicts that arise between teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of interface agreements and their current statuses.
  • Develop and execute strategies for interface management.
  • Lead discussions and teleconferences with stakeholders.
  • Integrate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards throughout project phases.

Electrical Engineering Duties:

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate electrical engineering tasks across multi-discipline projects.
  • Create and modify electrical design documentation, including single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts.
  • Interpret and adhere to National, State, and Local codes and standards.
  • Prepare engineering cost estimates and schedules, reviewing design calculations and specifications.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and other project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in interface management or electrical engineering, particularly on large-scale projects.
  • A degree in Engineering is preferred, though relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong proficiency in design, estimating, specification preparation, and construction documentation.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (Federal, State, Local).
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • A Professional Engineer License is preferred but not mandatory.
  • PMP certification is recommended.

Essential Skills:

  • Advanced skills in 2D/3D CAD software and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination abilities.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Capability to manage complex projects in a multi-discipline environment.

  • Experience with international projects and a commitment to diversity and inclusion are highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel, with mobility requirements exceeding 25%.
