Job Summary:
The Environmental Services Assistant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and equipment. You will work closely with our housekeeping team to ensure that our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Perform daily cleaning of common areas, including hallways, lounges, and restrooms.
- Restock housekeeping carts and closets with necessary supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous waste.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to achieve cleaning goals and objectives.
- Act in a courteous, professional, and respectful manner at all times.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols.
