Responsibilities

As a Patient Navigator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality, coordinated care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and facilitate the care of our breast cancer patients
  • Coordinating with our healthcare providers to ensure timely and effective care
  • Providing education and support to our patients and their families
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of our breast cancer program
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • At least one to two years of experience in oncology or breast specialty nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Current licensure, certification, and registration for healthcare professionals
Working Conditions

This role will require you to work in a hospital and office setting, with frequent patient rounding. You will need to be able to sit, walk, or stand for long periods of time and be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. You will also need to be able to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
