Job Title: Adjunct Instructor of Fine Arts

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor of Fine Arts to join our team at Louisiana State University Eunice. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Music, Art, and/or Theatre, and will work closely with our faculty and staff to provide a high-quality educational experience for our students.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and teach course materials in Music, Art, and/or Theatre, including syllabi and supporting materials.
  • Teach courses in Music, Art, and/or Theatre, including communication of grades and student learning outcomes.
  • Hold office hours to meet with students and provide support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • OR Master's degree in an unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in a related Fine Arts field from a regionally accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • 2 years of teaching experience, both in-person and online.
Essential Skills:
  • Ability to teach effectively and incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to maximize learning.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
