Job Summary:

The DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients undergoing orthopedic and bariatric surgeries.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Delegate, assess, provide, and evaluate patient care
  • Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members
  • Monitor patient progress and prepare patient for discharge
  • Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision-making activities
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from a school of nursing required
  • BSN preferred
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required
Work Environment:

Full-time position, night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
